Adventure Day Camp is a traditional summer day camp that offers a welcoming, lively, safe, positive, and diverse environment where children gain confidence and build self-esteem while enjoying a fun-filled summer in the outdoors. Our summer camp program exposes campers to a variety of challenging and exciting activities that will strengthen their appreciation for teamwork and personal accomplishment. The strength of our camp stems from our small group sizes, personal attention to each child, variety of activities, and an experienced staff dedicated to enriching children’s lives.

Philosophy:
At Adventure Day Camp the 3-week program is designed to allow campers to comfortably participate in both group and individual activities at their own pace. We feel the very first place our campers should feel at home is in their camp group. Bonding with other campers and their counselor is, after all, a big part of what summer camp is all about. Our sessions begin with the majority of activities offered within this group setting. We find this not only helps to create an environment where campers can try new and exciting activities that might otherwise seem intimidating, but it also insures that they are exposed to all the activities we offer.  

After our campers have been introduced to activities within the group setting, we begin to allow campers to choose many of the activities they wish to participate in At this point they have had a taste of all our activities and we think campers should be able to focus on the ones that interest them the most.
